Are share market predictions worth your attention?
At this time of year, experts often come out with their predictions regarding the economy and the share market for the upcoming year. The issue, however, is that these experts rarely agree and often have very different ideas about what will unfold.
Should you pay attention to these predictions in terms of your financial plan? I always believe in running your own race.
Focus on where you are right now and where you want to be. Consider your goals for the next 12 months and beyond, and focus on what you can control. We have no control over interest rates, share markets, and property prices. So, concentrate on your goals and objectives and block out the outside noise.
Of course, this doesn’t mean being oblivious to what’s happening in the world and the share market. It's important to take that into consideration. But by and large, focus on your objectives and what you can achieve in the next 12 months.
